ABOUT THE PRINT:
Scott’s Profondo Giallo project began as an obsession with movies, particularly those from the Italian pulp/horror film genre, known as Giallo. The artist used a computer program to capture more than 20,000 individual frames from a vast assortment of movies on DVD. He then digitally combined and altered selected “stills” to form collaged images. Many of the Profondo Giallo images have previously been produced as prints and as purely digital art. For the latest version of the project, the artist rendered the digital mash-ups in paint, adding another layer of strangeness to these striking compositions. The original acrylic on vinyl painting is available, details upon request.

Justin Hampton was commissioned by WEEN to create a print for their performance at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Legend has it that secret tunnels under the nearby Green Mill bar, a Prohibition-era hangout of Al Capone, lead to the Aragon’s basement. Hence… The Boognish-Capone! The NOWhere Limited edition of this print is a four color serigraph on gold pearlescent paper in a tiny edition of only 30. It’s a signed and numbered limited edition of only 30 and is available exclusively through NOWhere Limited.
