Originally realized as a pastel on paper, Barnaby Whitfield’s exquisite image Bird Girl is now available as a limited edition archival pigment print on acid-free paper. It can be purchased exclusively through NOWhere Limited for $80 USD per print + shipping.

Each print in this extremely small edition of 30 pieces has been signed and numbered by the artist. The print, including border, measures approximately 16 x 22 inches. The paper is a 300 gsm thick, acid and lignin free 100% cotton rag.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Barnaby Whitfield has exhibited at galleries in New York and Los Angeles as well as at the SCOPE-Miami art fair. His work has been featured in Art In America, Beautiful Decay and Juxtapoz magazines and as a special project, he created artwork for the Boston-based musical duo The Dresden Dolls’ album and DVD releases. This February, Barnaby has a solo show at Gallery Poulsen in Copenhagen, Denmark. He lives and works in NY, NY.

In anticipation of the season’s first hummingbird arrival in the Rocky Mountains, the artist recently fashioned a collage with elements of drawing on a bird feeder’s packaging. The image became this limited edition pigment print.

The full title of this piece is a poem Elisha “found” in the fragments of collage: Stolen by Apollo, they’re kooky at home. Rocked by scandal.
