This piece is based on the negative of the original painting, “Black in White” by Luke Chueh and was sculpted by Dave Pressler. It comes with a fur head that can be swapped out with the bare one and a really sharp knife (not for kids!)

In anticipation of the season’s first hummingbird arrival in the Rocky Mountains, the artist recently fashioned a collage with elements of drawing on a bird feeder’s packaging. The image became this limited edition pigment print.

The full title of this piece is a poem Elisha “found” in the fragments of collage: Stolen by Apollo, they’re kooky at home. Rocked by scandal.
