Joel Shapiro – Portland Art Museum

Joel Shapiro transforms the Portland Art Museum with an installation of his suspended work. Although not site-specific, the installation is in direct dialogue with the architecture and can be refined for different interior spaces. In fact, elements from this work were first realized at L.A. Louver in 2013 — click here to see a short film and images from that exhibition.

Joel Shapiro at the Portland Art Museum will be on view through September 21, 2014.
