Art Everywhere U.S. launched this morning with a “takeover” of dozens of digital billboards in Times Square! The largest outdoor art exhibition ever conceived, Art Everywhere U.S. is a collaboration between the Whitney, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art , the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America.
A total of fifty-eight artworks, curated with the help of the American public, will pop up through the month of August on 50,000 displays nationwide, including static and digital billboards, subway platforms and trains, buses and bus shelters. Find are near you.
