ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Born in Hong Kong and moved to England in 2003. Graduated from the Royal College of Art. Since 2000, he has held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Paris, London, Sofia, Munich, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
In 2005, he founded Lapin Factory studio in London. His work has been collected by galleries and museums, for example, the La Casa Encendida in Madrid, Spain, and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey of Mexico, etc. In 2017, he moved to Taiwan and explored the possibility of using ceramic and porcelain as a medium for his sculptures.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Los Angeles-based Gary Baseman explores the “beauty of the bittersweetness of life” through painting, performance, film, and fashion. Recent projects include a collaboration with COACH; a documentary “Mythical Creatures” about his family heritage; and a traveling retrospective that featured hundreds of his paintings, photographs, videos, and toy and costume designs.

Baseman’s multifaceted career includes illustration for clients including the New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Wall Street Journal and the bestselling board game Cranium; as well as animation for which he created the Emmy and BAFTA award-winning ABC/Disney series “Teacher’s Pet.” He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on graphic, multidisciplinary arts, and visual communications.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Frank Kozik moved to Austin, Texas as a teenager. His avid enthusiasm for the underground bands of that city led him to create rock posters and album covers. He produced over 3500 designs for the ‘music scene’ in the ’80s and ’90s. Kozik also founded the recording label Man’s Ruin Record in 1995, which had almost 200 releases during its 5-year run. Born in Madrid in 1962, today he lives and works in San Francisco, CA. “Up until now, it seems ‘underground art and design’ has been like a 2-d or acoustical thing. Now it’s 3-d. That’s amazing. ABOUT THE PRINT & STICKERS:
This edition, printed with high resolution archival pigments on heavyweight acid-fee 100% cotton paper, measures approximately 5 x 7 inches. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and is priced at $25 USD per copy, plus shipping. ABOUT THE IMAGERY:
This image is part of an ongoing series of fine art parody pieces Meloy has been working on for the past few years, and refers to the famous post-Renaissance painting by Caravaggio. Meloy’s version stars his iconic character The Primate, as described below…

The Primate is New York City’s omnipresent street creature. Originally conjured up in 2012, over the past few years, The Primate has evolved into an autonomous, sentient being, and is always there to greet you in public bathrooms, pizzerias, and sticker spots across the globe. (IG: @theprimatenyc)

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Joseph Meloy is a visual artist born and raised in New York City. Working in a style he coined “Vandal Expressionism”, his particular brand of post-graffiti abstraction draws heavily from AbEx, art brut, surrealism, cave painting and pop art, invoking primal elements of graffiti and the iconography of damage and intrusion from street art to turn the calligraphic scribbles of the street into a medium for artistic divination. Unencumbered by distinctions between the abstract and the figurative, his work delves into the impulses of the subconscious, transcribing them spontaneously onto canvas, paper and wall in an otherworldly yet distinctly urban visual language.
