Clyfford Still – Unveiled

Clyfford Still - 1957 J No 2 -PH 401

In 2010 a new museum will open in Denver devoted to the pioneering work of Clyfford Still. The aptly named Clyfford Still Museum is an astonishing collection of 825 paintings and 1575 works on paper. Over the years, Still managed to hold on to 94% of his total output and this work was bestowed to Denver… a great honor.
A nice taste of the collection is on view through November 16th at the Denver Art Museum. “Clyfford Still Unveiled” highlights 18 paintings and several works on paper that have never been exhibited previously.
