Our good friend and all around cool cat Justin Hampton has dropped a piece of history on NOWhere Limited. This is a 5 color serigraph on 100 lb. acid free stock and limited to only 44 signed and numbered pieces. The art print will be available for purchase at this link on Friday November 14th at 3PM EST.
There is some interesting ‘history’ to this print. In 2004 Justin created a poster commemorating the Dangermouse masterpiece “The Grey Album”. The composition from the Dangermouse print has been reexamined in “That One”. Jay-Z has been replaced with Barack Obama and the Beatles have morphed into some of the greatest civil rights leaders in U.S. history.
Each ‘History’ print is accompanied by a matching signed and numbered uncut handbill, which measures 6 x 24 inches. The handbill features four smaller versions of Hampton’s ‘THAT ONE’ imagery, with both red and blue backgrounds, intended by the artist as “a visual representation of a bipartisan coalition from solid red states to blue and everything in-between.”
Go on Justin, brush your shoulder off.
