Nick Cave – Soundsuits

Nick Cave has put his recent “Soundsuits” on display at the Jack Shainman Gallery in NYC.

The Soundsuits serve a dual purpose. They are aesthetically beautiful to look at and they sound great. When filled with a human, the various materials used to create the sculptural apparel come alive giving each suit it’s own voice.

The installation of the Soundsuits at Jack Shainman is impressive. If you venture into the gallery solo it is unlikely that you will feel alone.
