The master of “stuff”, Tom Friedman is about to descend on London. The Gagosian Gallery is playing host to Friedman’s show, “Monsters and Stuff” opening May 30th. As I write this there is only the above image “Green Demon” to ponder on the Gagosian website. Friedman is a living master. If you don’t know the man, check his work.

I titled this exhibition “Monsters and Stuff” both to create a conceptual backdrop, and to keep it open-ended. From a figurative standpoint, “monsters” represents the abnormal, which is open-ended, whereas “and stuff” states an unresolved conclusion.
